💨 Abstract

Major General Atul Kaushik (Retd) emphasized the need for more bunkers in border areas to protect civilians, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir and along the Line of Control. Recent conflicts have led to severe disruptions in border towns like Uri, Tangdhar, and Poonch, causing fatalities and economic damage. The absence of adequate safe havens and compensation leaves families vulnerable.
