💨 Abstract
The Maharashtra cabinet has approved a new Public-Private Partnership (PPP) policy to upgrade government-run Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) into global excellence centers. The policy, described as a "historic step," aims to equip students with cutting-edge skills tailored to international industry demands, enhancing their employability. The Maharashtra Institute for Transformation (MITRA) will lead this initiative, which involves modernizing ITIs through private sector collaboration in curriculum development, infrastructure upgrades, and advanced training technologies.
