💨 Abstract
In Amethi, UP, a man named Chandan Verma, accused of murdering an entire Dalit family, was shot in the leg by police during a gun recovery operation. Verma snatched the police officer's gun and fired at him, prompting the officer to shoot back. Verma was arrested in Noida and the pistol and bullet used in the crime were seized. The victims were a government school teacher, his wife, and their two daughters.
