💨 Abstract

A man named Sunil Rajput has been arrested in Lucknow for allegedly damaging a Durga idol at the Chhoti Mata temple during the night of October 9-10. The accused, who is a drug addict, was identified through CCTV footage and confessed to going to the temple to steal offerings, which he accidentally damaged. The local community was outraged and quickly replaced the damaged idol with a new one.
