đ¨ Abstract
The Mira Bhayander Vasai Virar (MBVV) police in Thane and Palghar districts have introduced an AI-based multi-violation detection system to enhance traffic monitoring and improve road safety. The system, rolled out as a pilot project in March, can automatically detect multiple traffic violations such as helmet compliance, triple seat riding, and automatic number plate recognition. In the next phase, it will also monitor wrong-side driving, high speed, and incident detection.
