💨 Abstract
In Palghar, Maharashtra, a mock drill was conducted across 19 villages near the Tarapur Atomic Power Station to test emergency readiness for radiological and nuclear incidents. The "National Mock Exercise" involved distributing 31,381 iodine tablets, activating shelters for 940 residents, and simulating the evacuation of 45 individuals. The drill, coordinated by the NDMA and Palghar DDMA, included participation from various agencies and disaster response volunteers.
