💨 Abstract
The Shimla Municipal Commissioner has ordered the demolition of the top three unauthorized storeys of the Sanjauli mosque and given the Waqf Board two months to carry out the order. The Muslim Welfare Committee had offered to demolish the unauthorized storeys themselves, but the demolition will be done at the cost of the Waqf Board. Hindu organizations have been protesting against unauthorized construction in the mosque and demanding the demolition of illegal storeys.
