Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the delegation for direct talks with Ukraine to settle the ongoing war. The delegation includes Vladimir Medinsky, an adviser to the president, Deputy Defence Minister Alexander Fomin, and Igor Kostyukov, the director of Russia's Foreign Military Intelligence Agency. These officials were also part of previous talks held in 2022 following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
