💨 Abstract
Chief Justice of India B R Gavai downplayed a protocol lapse during his visit to Mumbai, stating that the issue was trivial and should not be overemphasized. The lapse involved the absence of top Maharashtra officials during his first visit post-elevation. The Supreme Court released a statement saying all concerned parties had expressed regret. Gavai later visited Chaityabhoomi, where the missing officials were present.
