The Punjab Police conducted a cordon and search operation (CASO) across the state on October 9, aiming to deter street crimes and bolster security. The operation involved analyzing crime data, identifying hotspots, and increasing police presence at these areas. Police teams cordoned off crime hotspots, registered 140 FIRs, and verified the credentials of suspicious individuals.
