💨 Abstract
The Indian Railways has developed a new W-Beam metal fence to prevent cattle and two-wheelers from crossing train tracks, particularly on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai route where the speed limit is being raised to 160 kmph. This fence has been designed with gaps that are too narrow for cattle or two-wheelers to cross. Pedestrian subways are also being provided at identified locations.
