💨 Abstract
The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) has not moved forward due to cross-border terrorism from one of its members, stated External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. SAARC meetings have not occurred for several years. However, regional integration in the Indian subcontinent has increased in the last five-six years, Jaishankar noted, citing examples of railway lines, roads, and electricity grids between various countries.
