💨 Abstract
Senior BJP leader Uma Bharti called for the sacking of Madhya Pradesh minister Vijay Shah following his controversial remarks about Colonel Sofia Qureshi. Shah's comments, deemed "dangerous" and "scurrilous" by the Madhya Pradesh High Court, sparked widespread controversy, and the court ordered an FIR against him. Bharti is the only BJP leader to publicly condemn Shah's remarks. Shah claimed he meant no disrespect and offered to apologize.
