On May 14, the Supreme Court of India listed several critical cases: 1. A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) from the National Platform for the Rights of the Disabled. Challenges to the law excluding the Chief Justice of India from the panel selecting the Chief Election Commissioner and Election Commissioners. A plea against the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) directives to shut down madarsas that do not provide secular education.
