💨 Abstract
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has uncovered significant corruption in Gujarat’s online land records system, where officials exploited loopholes to demand bribes. Former Surendranagar district collector Rajendrakumar Patel was arrested for a money-laundering case involving land-use conversions. The ED found that applications on the IORA portal were used to demand bribes of up to Rs 10 per square meter.
