💨 Abstract

Between 2014-15 and 2021-22, the Indian government increased its health spending by over 100%, leading to a decrease in out-of-pocket expenses by 25 percentage points. Per capita government health expenditure tripled from Rs 1,108 to Rs 3,169 during the same period.
