The RSS spokesperson Sunil Ambekar stated that there is no demand from the ground level for co-ed participation in RSS shakhas, as society is not asking for it. He added that if such a demand arises, necessary changes will be made. Ambekar further explained that RSS's mission is man-making and nation-building, and the present structure of RSS shakhas is for the man-making process.
