On March 23, two teenagers, Vivek Tiwari (18) and Vinay Shah (17), from Mumbai drowned in the Ulhas river in Thane district. They had gone for a swim after an outing at the Vasat dam area, but failed to judge the depth and current. The bodies were retrieved after a search and sent for post-mortem.
