💨 Abstract
In Hardoi, UP, police closed the history-sheets of criminals aged 70 or above as part of Operation Kavach. The initiative aims to help senior ex-criminals turn a new leaf in life. Out of 2,200 history-sheeters scrutinized, 123 were 70+, 24 were over 80, and two were over 90. Many had not committed crimes for decades.
