💨 Abstract

Intermittent, widespread rains lashed Chennai and other regions of Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, turning a low-pressure area into a well-marked low-pressure area, likely to become a depression. Civic authorities reported no water stagnation in subways and no effect on flight and train operations. Water logging was seen in several places, with the Greater Chennai Corporation pumping out water.
