💨 Abstract
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has reconstituted its Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) with new external members. The upcoming MPC meeting will be significant as it marks the start of a new era for monetary policy decisions in India. The MPC was established under the 2016 amendment to the RBI Act, which introduced a flexible inflation targeting framework.
