💨 Abstract

On the fourth anniversary of the Imam Khomeini's fatwa, Salman Rushdie delivered a speech at King's Chapel, Cambridge, where he was an undergraduate. He discussed his connection with the story of the satanic verses or temptation of the Prophet Muhammad, and compared Khomeini's fatwa to the satanic verses.
