💨 Abstract
India, in response to a terror attack in Pahalgam, avoided full-scale retaliation against Pakistan, guided by the principle "with great power comes great responsibility." The previous Modi government's firm stance against terrorism, contrasted with the UPA’s docile dossier-exchange policy post-major attacks (2008-2014), set the stage for decisive action. In May, India launched "Operation Sindoor," targeting nine terror camps in Pakistan.
