đź’¨ Abstract
In Kerala, a high density of wildlife, especially tigers and elephants, has led to a rise in man-animal conflicts, causing human fatalities. The state's success in wildlife conservation has resulted in a wildlife explosion, with animals venturing outside protected areas due to lack of carrying capacity. The Wildlife Protection Act (WLPA) restricts hunting and predation, leading animals to forage in human settlements.
