💨 Abstract
SailGP plans to enhance its F50 catamarans' speed and racing by introducing new T-shaped foils from next year. The T-foils, thinner than the current L-shaped ones, reduce drag at high speed and allow better control and performance. Testing showed Canada SailGP team hitting a record 101.98 km/h with the new foils.
