FIFA will start reevaluating its transfer system regulations following a European Union ruling that some aspects were unlawful. The Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) ruled on October 4 that rules preventing players from terminating contracts without just cause and being liable for compensation were impeding the free movement of professional footballers.
