AMD plans to begin mass production of its AI chip MI325X in Q4 2022 and launch its next-gen MI350 series chips in H2 2025, featuring improved performance. However, investors were unimpressed due to the absence of new customers announced for the chips, causing a 5% dip in AMD shares. AMD's rivals Nvidia and Intel also saw slight drops in their shares.
