💨 Abstract
Chinese automaker BYD is recalling nearly 97,000 electric vehicles (EVs) due to a manufacturing fault in the steering control unit that could cause fire risks. The recall includes Dolphin and Yuan Plus EVs produced between November 2022 and December 2023. The affected models were BYD's top-selling models in 2023, accounting for 26% of its total sales.
