💨 Abstract
ADT Inc, a home security firm, announced on Monday that an unauthorized actor gained unlawful access to its network using credentials from a third-party partner. The incident follows a previous cybersecurity breach in which customer order details and limited personal information were accessed. ADT has taken steps to halt the unauthorized access and is investigating the matter. They believe no customer personal information or security systems were compromised, but certain encrypted employee data was accessed.
