💨 Abstract

The war in Sudan has caused the worst civilian protection crisis in decades, forcing over 3 million people to flee into neighboring countries, according to the UNHCR. Over 700,000 Sudanese refugees, mostly women and children, have sought safety in Chad, with 60,000 arriving in October due to fighting in Darfur. Refugees report human rights violations in Sudan while fleeing.
