💨 Abstract
Amsterdam banned demonstrations for three days following antisemitic attacks on Israeli soccer supporters. Israeli fans were assaulted, hospitalized, and had to be escorted to hotels. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government sent planes to bring fans home. The attacks sparked deep anger over the Gaza-Israel conflict, and Amsterdam tightened security in anticipation of a service at a Jewish monument to remember Kristallnacht.
