💨 Abstract

A Belgian military plane evacuated 111 people from Lebanon, comprising 58 Belgian nationals and residents, and 53 Europeans, on Thursday. The evacuation was in response to Israel's recent escalation of ground and air assaults on Lebanese armed group Hezbollah, with several countries seeking to evacuate citizens. The evacuation used a commercial flight via Turkey.
