British actress Maggie Smith, known for her roles in "Harry Potter" and "Downton Abbey," has died at the age of 89. A double Oscar winner, she was also a Tony and Emmy award winner. Her long career started on the stage in the 1950s, with her first Academy Award nomination for playing Desdemona opposite Laurence Olivier in "Othello."
