British author Samantha Harvey won the 2024 Booker Prize for her novel 'Orbital', set in space, making it the first space-themed book to win the prestigious literary award. The shortlist was dominated by women and 'Orbital' was the UK's biggest-selling book on the list. The novel follows six astronauts on the International Space Station observing Earth from space over a single day.
