China and Pakistan reaffirmed their "ironclad" friendship, pledging to deepen ties and expand cooperation despite recent tensions. Pakistan supports China on sensitive issues like Taiwan and Xinjiang, while China invests billions in Pakistan through the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). However, militant attacks on Chinese projects and warming U.S.-Pakistan relations add complexity. Both countries agreed to upgrade CPEC, enhance cooperation in various sectors, and combat terrorism in Afghanistan.
