đź’¨ Abstract
China announced punitive measures against three Taiwanese individuals involved in "Taiwan independence" activities. One will face lifelong accountability, while two others and their relatives will be barred from entering mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau. The actions aim to protect national sovereignty and territorial integrity, targeting only "Taiwan independence diehards," not the general Taiwanese population. Beijing claims Taiwan as its territory, a claim rejected by Taipei.
