💨 Abstract
China successfully launched an intercontinental ballistic missile into the Pacific Ocean on Wednesday, raising concerns about its nuclear build-up. The missile was a dummy and fell into expected sea areas, according to the Chinese defence ministry, who stated it was part of their annual training plan and not directed at any country. China informed the concerned countries in advance and the launch tested the performance of weapons and equipment.
