China's senior foreign ministry official, Liu Jinsong, met Indian Ambassador Pradeep Kumar Rawat to discuss bilateral relations and regional concerns amid the India-Pakistan military conflict. India conducted strikes on terror infrastructure in response to a previous attack, and Pakistan retaliated with attacks on Indian military bases. Both countries agreed to a ceasefire. China welcomed this development, urging both nations to maintain peace, resolve differences through dialogue, and work towards a lasting ceasefire.
