💨 Abstract

Chinese hackers reportedly breached the networks of U.S. broadband providers, including Verizon Communications, AT&T, and Lumen Technologies. The intrusion gave hackers possible access for months to network infrastructure used for court-authorized U.S. wiretapping and other internet traffic. The Chinese foreign ministry did not respond to requests for comment, while the telecom companies declined to comment.
