💨 Abstract
President Erdogan of Turkey expressed Turkey's readiness to host peace talks between Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelenskiy and Russia's Vladimir Putin. Erdogan met Zelenskiy in Ankara and emphasized the importance of keeping dialogue channels open amid a "historic opportunity" for peace. Putin, however, opted to send a lower-level delegation to Istanbul instead of meeting Zelenskiy personally.
