💨 Abstract

The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit commenced in Pakistan on October 15, with foreign delegations arriving amid heightened security and the deployment of the army. India, Russia, China, Iran, and other member states were in attendance. Protests by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party against the restriction imposed on their jailed leader were threatened but divided the party.
