đź’¨ Abstract
On May 13, 2025, the United Nations (UN) welcomed the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan, which ended four days of cross-border conflict. The ceasefire, reached on May 10, stopped all military actions on land, air, and sea, with no third party involvement. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres's spokesperson, Stéphane Dujarric, hopes the ceasefire will lead to addressing longstanding issues.
