💨 Abstract

In Bangladesh's Shariatpur district, a 50-year-old Hindu man, Khokhon Das, was severely beaten and set on fire in a midnight attack. This is the fourth recent incident of violence against the Hindu minority. Das recognized his assailants and escaped by jumping into a pond. Police have identified two local residents involved and are searching for them.
