Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba has instructed his ministers to compile a new economic package to alleviate rising living costs and aid the country's exit from deflation. The package, to be funded by a supplementary budget after lower house elections on Oct. 27, will include payouts to low-income households and subsidies to local governments.
