💨 Abstract
North Korea held a Supreme People's Assembly session this week, but did not confirm a shift in its stance towards unification with South Korea. Expectations were high that the assembly would remove unification references from the constitution, as per Kim Jong Un's January speech. The assembly amended the constitution to change work and voting ages, passed new industry and economy laws, and appointed No Kwang Chol as defense minister.
