North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has threatened to use nuclear weapons if attacked, while also vowing to become a military superpower. In a speech to university students, Kim said North Korea would use all means of aggression without hesitation if attacked, and did not rule out using nuclear weapons. Kim also called for strengthening North Korea's defenses and sent a birthday message to Russian President Vladimir Putin, calling him his "closest Comrade."
