An Indian team met with the UN Security Council's 1267 sanctions committee to discuss the Pahalgam terror attack, claimed by The Resistance Front (TRF), a front for the Pakistani group Lashkar-e-Taiba. The team, in New York, interacts with various UN bodies and partner countries. India conducted retaliatory strikes, "Operation Sindoor," against nine terror factories in Pakistan following the attack that killed 26 civilians.
