💨 Abstract

A pipeline explosion at a natural gas complex in Venezuela caused a fire and injured five workers, forcing power rationing in certain regions. The fire was mostly extinguished by Wednesday, but black smoke remained. PDVSA, the state oil company, is evaluating strategies to minimize the impact on natural gas supply. In northeastern Nueva Esparta state, power rationing plans have been implemented due to insufficient gas for electricity generation.
