💨 Abstract
India is considering Algeria as a strong contender for the second wave of BRICS expansion, but consensus from all member nations is required. India is also exploring trade in local currencies with African nations, particularly using UPI, and is engaging with countries on national currency trading and UPI. The expansion of BRICS is a process based on consensus, and the inclusion of Algeria, Mauritania, and Malawi is also a process that requires agreement from all member nations.
