The mayor's office in Madrid has given rental e-scooter operators until October 25 to remove their devices from the city streets due to public outcry against reckless driving and chaotic parking by users. The foreign operators, Lime, Dott, and Tier Mobility, have been criticized for failing to implement circulation limits and control parking. The companies have around 2,000 e-scooters each in Madrid.
